Kameido Gyoza Ryogoku in Sumida

Nice Gyoza restaurant near the large sumo hall in Ryogoku. We came to eat after visiting the Sumo tournament in September. Foreigners don't come here often :-) The map is only in Japanese, but thanks to Google Translate you get what you want. The service was very nice and the food was delicious. Restaurant was well filled in the evening.

Amazing dumplings. It's a bit busy, so the staff is constantly busy but very helpful. They didn't speak much English but they were really nice. The place didn't have an english menu.

It is 270 yen for 5 dishes of Gyoza. It was thin and crisp. In addition, we had fried rice (large serving 680 yen) and Kata Yakisoba (680 yen). I was satisfied with the amount of taste. The store has 5 tables for 2-4 people and 10 counters. I think that the table seats are quite cramped with 4 adults. I feel cramped when the counter seats are full. I think that it is not suitable when you want to relax and eat. I visited around 19:30, but the table and counter seats were almost full. Since there are many customers who are holding the gyoza as a knob, the rotation may not be so good.

Kameido Gyoza is the main store in Kameido, but you can enjoy the same taste here and in the Ryogoku store.The atmosphere differs between Kameido, Kinshicho, and Ryogoku, so if you want to experience the atmosphere of Kameido dumplings, I recommend going to the main store first.I'm a fan of gyoza itself, so I often visit Ryogoku stores, which have a short line.
